Every team’s season, on one timeline

The timeline

See the whole club's curriculum at a glance

A curriculum on a spreadsheet tab tells one coach what one team is doing. The timeline tells the Academy Manager what every team is doing, what comes next, and whether it lines up with the next review - in the time it takes to scroll across a season.

Set a block on a whole phase and it appears on every team inside it. Fold a phase away when you only care about one age group, and jump straight to any review cycle.

  • Teams down the side, grouped by phase

  • Planned, active and complete blocks, coloured by status

  • Review cycles drawn under the months

  • Drag a block to move it, or either end to change its dates

Curriculum blocks

Say what good looks like, not just what to coach

A block is a stretch of the season with a handful of focus items. Each one comes from your four-corner development framework, and each carries an intent - the standard a player should reach by the end of the block.

That intent is what turns a curriculum from a list of topics into something a coach can plan against and a reviewer can rate against.

  • Focus items chosen from your development framework

  • An intent for each: what good looks like by the end

  • Start from a template, or save one that worked

  • Copy a block onto another team or phase

Plan, do, review

Written once, followed all the way to the review

The curriculum is not a document coaches are asked to remember. When a coach plans a session, the team’s current focus is offered to them. When a player is reviewed, the blocks the team worked through sit beside the questions. It is the session plan and the development record that make the curriculum real.

Questions

Frequently asked

What is a curriculum block?

A block is a stretch of the season - usually four to eight weeks - with a name, dates and a handful of focus items. Each focus item links to your development framework and says what good looks like by the end of the block.

Can I set one curriculum for a whole age group?

Yes. Set a block on a group, such as Foundation Phase or U11-U12, and it appears on every team inside it. A team can still have blocks of its own alongside it.

How does the curriculum reach coaches?

When a coach plans a session, the team's current focus is offered as suggestions marked "From the curriculum", one tap each. At review time, the blocks the team worked through sit beside the questions, with each block's intent next to the question it relates to.

Can blocks follow our review cycles?

Yes. Review cycles are drawn on the timeline, and a block linked to a cycle stays inside it when you drag it to new dates.

Can we reuse a block that worked?

Save any block as a template and start new blocks from it, or copy a block straight onto another team or group.
